School-Based Mental Health Therapist (LMSW/LGPC/LCSW-C/LCPC/LCMFT)
Innovative Therapeutic Services (ITS) is seeking compassionate, licensed mental health professionals to join our growing School-Based Mental Health Program serving high school students through our partnership with Prince George's County Public Schools for the 2026–2027 school year.

What You'll Do
As a member of our School-Based Mental Health team, you will:
- Provide individual, family, and group therapy services to high school students in the school setting, with telehealth services provided when clinically appropriate.
- Maintain the required minimum weekly billable service expectation while delivering quality, client-centered care.
- Complete psychosocial assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, discharge summaries, and other clinical documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
- Develop and update individualized treatment plans in accordance with regulatory and organizational requirements.
- Identify additional service needs and coordinate referrals for psychiatric evaluations, medication management, psychiatric rehabilitation services (PRP), or other community resources when appropriate.
- Collaborate with parents, guardians, teachers, school personnel, and multidisciplinary treatment providers to support student success.
- Participate in individual supervision, group supervision, clinical staff meetings, and ongoing professional development.
- Maintain ethical and professional standards in accordance with Maryland licensing regulations and organizational policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the success of the School-Based Program.
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related behavioral health field.
- Active Maryland license in good standing:
- LMSW
- LCSW-C
- LGPC
- LCPC
- LCMFT
- Experience working with children, adolescents, or families preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment, communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic health record (EHR/EMR) systems.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Ability to successfully complete federal and state background checks.
- Professional liability insurance (or ability to obtain upon hire).
